About Me:
Broadcaster in Halifax NS. Fourteen years into my paying career. Just getting started at building my worth.
Why I joined NetworthIQ:
To get a snapshot of how my assets add up.
Best Financial Decision:
Investing some inheritance money into an RRSP.
Worst Financial Decision:
Not signing up for the company stock plan years earlier.
Current Financial Strategy:
Pour as much as I can into employee stock plan, keep RRSPs topped up in a mix of conservative and aggressive mutual funds.
How I manage my money:
Keep spending reasonable and make as much of it as automatic as possible.
Tools I use:
Quicken for budgeting. NetworthIQ for tallying up what I have. Online banking for fund movement.
I need help with:
What to do with surplus investable money that won't fit in my RRSP.
Favorite Financial Personalities:
The Wealthy Barber guy; various personal finance bloggers.
