Finally, A gain in net worth. Quite a large gain, in fact. A few more homes sold in the neighborhood so I bumped the house up a small amount. Equities and fixed income both performed well and helped to stop the bleeding in a lot of positions.

We really cut back spend rates where possible and still maintained a good level of income saving. Next month looks to be a low spend month as well as cards going in to the month are at a five year low. (Yes, we pay all card balances off each month but they are still a cash flow item).

It is nice to see growth again and a lot easier to view on this site.

OK, Five months of losses in a row. This feels like a bottom with less pain than I thought would exist with a good $400,000 loss from top of the peak. Muni's are really really attractive so although stock positions went down, I am still expecting appreciation in my bond positions.

I expect equity line debt to increase about $5k next month as we take advantage of very low equity line rates to build up equities in the joint account and look to dollar cost average into some pretty low valuations.

Expenses are under control and with the exception of required spring home maintenance should remain low. Lets all think happy equity thoughts and look forward to a real estate bottom.

OK, Four month of losses in a row. I am hoping and believing that we are close to the bottom on equities. I haven't done any radical surgery on my portfolios as my overall portfolios are not overly aggressive.

I took the house value down again, even though sales in the neighborhood have appeared to of bottomed if not moved up recently. Zillow numbers have flattened out as well and the short term drop appears to be done.

The month as a whole was still pretty poor for my assets but I am pleased with our cash flow for the month and look forward to finally growing our taxable accounts on a monthly basis for the remainder of this year. I am cautiously optomistic.
