It definitely looks like I'll be hitting my $500k goal this year... and $500k before having my first child (which, by the way, is happening in August, knock on wood.) All is going well and the next two years, if I can hold on to my job through the birth of my first child, will be very strong for my net worth growth. I'd very much like to see my networth increase by $250k - or more - in the next two years... and it's doable, although dependent on a lot of things out of my control.

Now focused on getting a head start on 2018 goal of $600k. A lot depends on how job goes... still very new in role, and not feeling stable at all. Nov/Dec focusing on being as frugal as possible outside of medical bills in case I'm not able to maintain job. I really would like to stay in this job for 3-4 years... it would be incredible if I can find a place where I am valued and people like my work... and if I can keep the job for 4 years I believe I can hit my "phase 2" $1M net worth goal by 40 (or earlier.)

While my net worth increased modestly this month, this is a huge achievement since I spent too much this month and didn't have any income outside of investment growth. It would have been a really strong growth in networth had I been working, but I start my new job soon so hopefully I can finish this year strong -- maybe even at ~$525k net worth, which would be nice head start on my next massive goal of $1M in the next 6 years.
