Monthly Entry
This is the combined income of my husband and me. We have 10% going to 401Ks, 2 cars, and a house that has appreciated a little bit in value since we bought it 2 years ago. The reason why we are not paying off our auto loan is because we get 5% interest on our cash and the loan is at 1.9%. We are currently looking at funding some index ETFs in the near future. We are currently socking away 2400 a month into savings. I am currently looking at taking our emergency funds and putting it into a highly liquid 8-month CD at Patelco.
