Networth IQ allows me to track my growth with Networth on a monthly basis. I can track retirement, real estate, investments, and savings on a month to month basis.
Best Financial Decision:
Getting my head out of my rear end eight years ago and used personal finance gurus to help me develop a plan and give me a sense of purpose to follow. Removed my debt, aggressively funded retirement with match, saved and bought a home, have emergency savings. All of this gives the gift of peace of mind and I can sleep nights. I'm doing ok and I will reach my goals.
Worst Financial Decision:
Waiting until I was 39 years old to get my life in order. Through sheer luck some of the pieces that I needed financially were in place.
Current Financial Strategy:
Low cost indexing funds - balanced between domestic and foreign stocks and bonds. Riding out the storm of the markets and the economy.
How I manage my money:
My monthly and retirement budgets are in Excel. I use some online tools to track my progress to retirement and reaching "my number." I do it myself.
Tools I use:
Vanguard, Fidelity, and T Rowe have tools that I use to help.
